The development objective of the Additional Financing for the Sustainable Development Investment Project is to support the development and implementation of policy ... Mostrar más + reforms and related investments in line with the sustainable development policy loan program framework, particularly those policies and investments that address environmental problems affecting the quality of life and wellbeing of the Colombian population. The areas to be supported by the Additional Financing (AF) have been identified as priorities through the dialogue with the Government of Colombia (GoC) on a broader package of Bank assistance in the area of strengthening environmental management and climate change resilience. The GoC will provide US$1.05 million of counterpart funds. The AF to the project is also fully aligned with the pillars of the World Bank Group's 2012-2016 country partnership strategy discussed by the Executive Directors on July 21, 2011. The AF will also contribute to the Government's efforts to strengthen climate risk management in the aftermath of the recent devastating winter floods. Mostrar menos -
